Establishment

Company Elektro Sochor spol. s r. o. is a subsidiary company of stock company ŠMERAL Brno, which bacame famous above all by the production of castings, later the production of Kaplan turbines. Industrial production of metalforming machines began in 1925. Based on privatization project of Šmeral factory on May 1,1992 stock company Šmeral Brno was reorganized and company Elektro Sochor spol. s r. o. was established on September 30, 1994.
Company Elektro Sochor spol. s r.o. - ŠMERAL Group is registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, insert 16727th.

• The first portal loader developed, completed and put into operation - 2004
• Supply of the first induction heating (produced by CEFI S.r.l, Italy) - 2007
